At Clearwater Coin Laundry, we are committed to providing high-quality wash and fold services with the utmost care. However, to ensure clarity and transparency, we ask that you review and acknowledge the following terms and conditions:
1. Garment Care

We handle all items with care; however, we are not responsible for damage due to care instructions provided by the garment manufacturer. If a garment is labeled with specific care instructions (e.g., hand wash only, dry clean only), it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that items are labeled correctly and that such instructions are followed. We are not liable for any damage that occurs to garments requiring special handling that are submitted without prior notice.

If you are unsure about the care instructions for an item or have any special requirements, please inform us when submitting your laundry.
2. Lost or Damaged Items

We take every precaution to ensure that your items are handled safely. However, in the rare event of loss or damage, our liability is limited to the replacement cost of the item or a refund of the service charge, whichever is less.

Claims Process: To file a claim for lost or damaged items, please provide the following:

A detailed description of the item(s) and the issue (e.g., damage, loss).

Your receipt or order number for reference.

Photos of the damaged item(s), if applicable.

Claims should be submitted within 7 days of receiving your laundry. Claims outside this period will not be accepted.

We reserve the right to request additional documentation, including proof of purchase or any other relevant information, to process a claim.

Please note that our liability for loss or damage is limited to items that are submitted for service. Items with extreme damage prior to washing (e.g., large rips, tears) should not be submitted.
3. Stains and Odors

While we make every effort to remove stains and odors, we cannot guarantee that all stains will be removed, especially those that are set-in or old.

For tougher or set-in stains, we recommend adding premium detergent or bleach, or using a stain treatment like OxiClean. These options are available at an additional cost and may improve results, but please note that there is no guarantee of full stain or odor removal.

Certain stains, such as ink, wine, or grease, may be permanent, and in some cases, special treatments may be necessary (e.g., dry cleaning), which are outside the scope of our standard wash and fold services.
4. Turnaround Time

While we aim to complete all orders promptly, we cannot guarantee specific completion times due to unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you of any significant delays.

Please plan accordingly and allow extra time for potential delays during peak periods or other factors beyond our control.
5. Personal Items

Please ensure that all personal items (e.g., coins, jewelry, tissues, etc.) are removed from pockets before submitting your laundry. We are not responsible for any personal items left inside clothing.
6. Banned or Restricted Items

Non-Clothing Items: We do not accept non-clothing items for washing (e.g., banners, large fabrics, rugs that are not bedding, etc.). If an item is not standard laundry, please contact us in advance to verify whether we can accommodate it.

Shoes, Electronics, and Fragile Items: We do not accept shoes, clothing with embedded electronics (e.g., heated garments, lights, etc.), or items that may pose a risk of damage during washing (e.g., fragile toys, teddy bears, etc.).

Excessively Soiled or Hazardous Items: We do not accept laundry that is excessively soiled or has hazardous contamination, including but not limited to used diapers, clothing soiled with bodily fluids, or items with strong odors of urine or feces. Such items are a health and safety risk and will not be processed. If you are unsure whether an item is acceptable, please contact us for clarification.
7. Delicate, Expensive, or High-Risk Items

For items that are delicate, expensive, or have high sentimental value (e.g., tuxedos, fine dresses, high-end fabrics), we recommend taking them to a professional dry cleaner. While we will handle these items with care, our wash and fold service is not designed for such specialty garments, and we cannot assume responsibility for potential damage to delicate or luxury fabrics.
